The Town of Wareham has canceled HazMat Day, which was supposed to take place on Saturday, Sept. 16, according to the town’s website.

The event was intended to encourage residents to properly dispose of their hazardous products and electronics.

While it is assumed the event was canceled due to the impending storm, no one from the Municipal Maintenance is available at this time to confirm this or to comment on whether this event will be rescheduled.
