A Helping Paw in East Wareham is offering free 15 pound bags with a $30 retail value each of high quality and low calorie adult cat food to a total of 30 pet owners in need. Bags are limited to one per pet owner.

To receive the free bag pet owners are asked to tell A Helping Paw why they need the food via a message on facebook sent to "A Helping Paw Humane Society." A Helping Paw will give additional details about picking up the food to those approved.

A Helping Paw offers free dog and cat food separate from free bag program with the help of donors and Petco's "We are Family too" program.
