High schoolers donate teddy bears for injured children
May 24, 2017
Wareham High School students donated teddy bears this week to comfort injured children in grisly situations.
The members of the Wareham High School Key Club visited local emergency services headquarters, bringing stuffed animals for first responders to give to children experiencing trauma. These bears are intended to soothe hurt, frightened children.
This is the second year the community service club has donated stuffed animals to police, fire and hospital emergency rooms to help children.
