It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ida May Snodgrass, who left us on August 21st, 2024 at the age of 49.  Born on June 07, 1975 in Wareham Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Jerre T Hurst and Bonnie L Hurst. Ida was a beacon of light, love, and kindness to all who knew her.

 

Ida Snodgrass was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her partner Owen Snodgrass, her four children Jorge, Caitlyn, Jeremy, & Adrianna, as well as her eight grandchildren and three step grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and her dedication to their happiness and well-being was evident in everything she did.

 

A woman of great strength and compassion, Ida touched the lives of many through her generous spirit and unwavering support. She had a passion for traveling, cruises, casinos, the beauty in nature and a good true crime series, and she shared her talents and joy with everyone around her.

 

Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. We will remember her for her warm smile, her gentle laugh, and the countless moments of joy she brought into our lives.

 

A celebration of Ida's life will be held on September 14th, at American legion hall in Dunnellon FL as well as October 06th, at the Elks lodge in Wareham Massachusetts. 

 

Rest in peace, Ida Snodgrass. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
