Wareham Police arrested and charged 19-year-old Kevin Pizzi of Plymouth with breaking and entering in the nighttime and malicious destruction of property in excess of $250 on Jan. 6, after he allegedly broke into a Cranberry Highway business, causing hundreds of dollars in damage.
The Wareham Police Department responded to an alarm at Arials Only Gallery in East Wareham to find the front door smashed, the store in disarray, and an intoxicated man crouched in the front of the store, according to police.
Pizzi was placed in protective custody when the police determined that he was intoxicated.
There was “significant damage to merchandise and store equipment," police said.
Pizzi was arraigned in Wareham District Court Monday, Jan. 7.
