Irene M. (O'Neil) Vicino, 95, of Wareham, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Bourne Manor after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Rocco "Rockey" Vicino.

Born in Hyde Park, she was the daughter of the late Agnes (Griffin) and William O'Neil.

A previous resident of Brighton and Brockton, she moved to Wareham in 1954. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Pauline L. Baxter, of Wareham; two step-daughters, Josephine M. Fickle, of Pawtucket, RI, and Dolores N. Thomas, of Lemon Grove, CA; eight grandchildren including Dale Baxter, Pamela A. Baxter and Michael R. Baxter; 26 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be Saturday, April 24 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, High St., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 p.m.
