Jaime Rebhan, former Wareham Week editor, now with School Department

Nov 7, 2013

Former Wareham Week editor Jaime Rebhan is now serving as District/Technology Outreach Coordinator for the Wareham School Department.

Superintendent Kimberly Shaver-Hood created the 1-year, grant-funded position to "help improve communication between the School Department and the residents of Wareham."

"I believe it is vital to share the wonderful educational learning opportunities, our outstanding faculty and staff, students, and their accomplishments and achievements," Shaver-Hood said.

At Wareham Week and WarehamVillageSoup.com, Rebhan spent nearly four years covering the town -- one year as the new publication's first reporter, three years as editor. She left the paper at the end of October.

In her new role, Rebhan will be managing content on the School Department's website, assisting with grant applications, helping promote the achievements of students who are applying to college in such ways as producing video portfolios, and overall, in Shaver-Hood's words, helping to "make Wareham a school choice destination."

"We are very fortunate as Jaime knows our community well and is a valuable resource as we share our outstanding news," Shaver-Hood said.
