James William Hall, 77

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James William Hall on November 28, 2024, in Naples, FL. Born on August 27, 1947, in Boston, MA, Jim lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his love for family, friends, and his New England roots.

Jim had a long and accomplished career in the concrete industry, where he took pride in his work as both a teamster mixer driver and concrete contractor. Outside of work, he embraced life with enthusiasm, enjoying fishing and boating whenever he could. A true sports fan, Jim was deeply devoted to all his New England teams, especially the Boston Red Sox.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Hall, of Naples, FL, and Wareham, MA; his daughter, Andrea Thompson and her husband Eric Thompson, of Stoneham, MA; and his cherished grandchildren, Vivian and EJ, of Stoneham; and his sister, Joanna Hall, of Franklin, MA; and his in-laws, Louise Zoia, Barbara Zoia, and Larry Zoia.

A memorial service will be held in Wareham, MA, at a later date.

Jim will be remembered for his warmth, passion for life, and the countless memories he shared with those who loved him. If you were lucky enough to share a happy hour with Jim, you would have heard his favorite jokes and seen his treasured pictures and videos of his beloved grandchildren, Vivian and EJ, who were his pride and joy.
