Each month, Wareham Middle School recognizes exceptional students in each grade.

Siya Patel is the fifth grader of the month for January.

“Siya is a true all-around great individual,” one teacher said. “She is courteous and caring to whomever she meets. She also seeks to do her best for every endeavor whether it be in the classroom, working on homework, in her specials or on the four square court.”

Another teacher said Patel “is a thoughtful and dedicated artist.”

“Siya is a very conscientious student,” one other teacher said. “She takes her studies very seriously and works diligently to complete her work in a timely and efficient manner to the best of her ability. “

Landyn Lopes is the sixth grader of the month.

“He works hard to do his best in his classes and is always on task and ready to answer a teacher or peer question,” one teacher said. “Often one of the quieter students in the room, his work speaks volumes. He is on track to earn honor roll for the second term in a row.”

Another teacher said Lopes is a hardworking, kind student.

“His shy and quiet nature often makes him fly under the radar,” said another teacher. “I think it is important that he sees he is appreciated and his efforts are not going unnoticed. When you talk with him one-on-one, you will see his great sense of humor and humble nature.”

Bryanna Troupe is the seventh grader of the month.

“Bryanna is a very conscientious student,” one student said. “She works very hard to keep her grades up and is willing to help other students.”

Another teacher said Troupe is a good role model for other students.

“Bryanna is a very ambitious student who strives to do her best in all subjects,” said another teacher. “She is very polite and caring towards her fellow classmates and teachers. You will often see Bryanna looking out for her classmates and helping them out in any way she can.”
