Jeffrey A. Phillips, 49, of West Wareham, died July 5 in Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia V. (McDuffy) Phillips.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School in 1980.

Mr. Phillips was co-owner of J & R Towing, Recovery and Repair, Inc. in Wareham.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing hockey, football, and baseball. He loved working.

Survivors include his widow, Patricia V. (McDuffy) Phillips; his parents, Ronald W. and Betsey B. (Wright) Phillips; his son, Kyle Smith Phillips; his daughter, Jodi Smith Phillips and her husband Daniel Campanirio; 3 brothers, Ronald W. “Billy” Phillips, Jr., Carl B. Phillips ,and Ernest Phillips and his wife Steffani; 2 sisters, Margaret Phillips, Martha Phillips Luppino and her husband Jamie; a grandson, Mayson Campanirio; his brother-in-law, Robert McDuffy and his wife Jana; his sister-in-law, Kristine Ansell and her husband James; an unofficial adopted son, Robert Richards all of Wareham; his mother-in-law, Janice Faria and her husband Phil of Stoughton; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his nephew, Todd Phillips.

His funeral was held on July 11 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral. Burial followed in Centre Cemetery.
