Joan Marie Hollis, 87, of Wareham, wife of Richard B. Hollis, passed away on Saturday May 28, 2022, at home with her family at her side. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary E. (Sliney) Flaherty.

A graduate of Dorchester High School she enjoyed reading, snowmobiling, dancing, spending time at Race Point Beach, Provincetown and St. Petersburg, FL. Joan worked for many years as an administrator at the Cardinal Cushing Hospital/Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.  

Mother of Richard M. Hollis (Cheryl) and Patricia St. George. Grandmother of; Richard Hollis, Courtney Lopez, Richard St. George, Mark St. George and Samantha St. George. Sister of Jack Flaherty, Nancy Rowe, Eileen Flaherty-Brookes and Mary Jane Nancarrow. Nine great- grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
