John F. Lourenco, Sr., 84, of Wareham passed away April 17 at the Royal Fairhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. John was the husband of Clarinda (Silva) Lourenco of Wareham.

He was born in Portugal the son of the late Emilio and Alice (Gata) Lourenco. He worked for many years in the Healthcare industry as an X-ray technician. He was an avid reader, soccer enthusiast and former physical therapist for team “Vitoria” of Setubal Portugal.

He is also survived by his son John Lourenco Jr. of Wareham and brother of Carlos Lourenco and Amelia Machado of Portugal and many loving friends and relatives. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery Tihonet Road Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
