Judith Marion (Cartier) Berg, 72, of Wareham, formerly of Shrewsbury, died Saturday, Nov. 26 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a brief illness. She was the wife of John C. Berg.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Marion (DeJoinville) Cartier. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School and worked as a veterinary technician at Tufts Veterinary School in Grafton. She has been a resident of Wareham since 2002.

Judith enjoyed traveling to China to participate in the adoption process of her granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, John; her daughter, Christine Fantoni of Marion; her sons, John Berg of Wakefield and Jeffery Berg of Attleboro and her grandchildren, Kelsey Mansfield, Torie Berg, Jamie Berg, Nicole Fantoni and Rachael Fantoni.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
