NEW BEDFORD - Kathleen M. King, 83, of New Bedford died Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.

Born in Milford, a daughter of the late Harold B. King and Laura K. (Scott) King of Franklin. Kathy enjoyed crafts, playing cards, and winning at bingo. A former resident of Wareham, she attended the Gateway Adult Center.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Redd Norton of Foxborough and Sandy’s children Mark and Linda, her many friends and caregivers at LifeStream in New Bedford, and the dear friends and caregivers from over the years, especially her beloved mentor Robyn Carpenter of DDS MA. She was predeceased by her sister, Mabel M. (King) Goodman.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 2 – 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
