This year, three Wareham residents participated in the Boston Marathon.

Meghan Irvine finished the race at 2:36 p.m. in a total time of 3 hours, 44 minutes, and 32 seconds.

Christoper Aucella from West Wareham ran on the Colonial Road Runners team. Irvine was on the American Liver Foundation's "Run for Research" team. He completed up to 15K of the 42.125K race.

Kasey Melloni was part of the "Run for MGH" (Mass General Health) team. She ran a total of 35K.
