A kiteboarder was seriously injured following an accident in which he was driven into the rocks at Little Harbor Beach in the early afternoon on Dec. 24.

The man was alert and conscious while being seen to by Emergency Medical Services, and was transported from Tobey Hospital by MedFlight.

The cause of the accident is unclear, and the man’s condition is unknown at this time.
