The Wareham Land Trust will celebrate its tenth anniversary by once again taking to the sea for its 2010 annual meeting. The Land Trust has chartered the Viking canal cruiser to depart Onset Pier at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10 for a two-hour celebration of Wareham's natural beauty from the sea. The boat ride will enable trust members and their families to view some of Wareham's most pristine open spaces as the Viking travels through Onset Harbor to traverse the Cape Cod Canal. A short meeting on board will recap the Trust's accomplishments over the past year and set goals for the year ahead.

Boarding for the cruise will begin at 6:45 p.m. Light snacks and desserts will be served and a cash bar will be available on board. The cruise is free and open to all Wareham Land Trust members and their families. To reserve space, please call 508-295-5564 by August 3, 2010.
