Laurianne Lowe, 72
Laurianne Lowe, 72, of West Wareham, died on Sunday, Nov. 22 at Wedum Hospice Residence in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota after a brief illness.
Born on May 12, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Walter Pierce and Emily J. Pierce, of Rochester. She graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School.
Laurianne lived for 43 years in Tremont and moved to Minneapolis in the spring of 2014 to live in assisted living due to her declining health. Her son, Philip was her personal caregiver.
She was the owner of Tremont Pools for thirty years and was also a seasonal employee of Decas Cranberry Products, Inc. and A. D. Makepeace Company. Laurianne was an active member, and later president of the Sociable Singles Group. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Wareham.
Laurianne is survived by her daughter, Donna Larsen-Limric of Seattle, Washington; her sons, Br. Anselm Philip King-Lowe, n/OSB of the Companions of St. Luke/Order of Saint Benedict, of Richfield, Minnesota, and Jay Lopes of Ormond Beach, Florida; her siblings, Gail Purdy, Walter A. Pierce, Frances Florindo, and Joyce McWilliams, all of Wareham, and Bonnie Hartley, of Rochester. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, the late June Gainey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12 at St. Patrick’s Church at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham. All are invited to attend.
