On Wednesday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m., the library will be hosting naturalist and educator Joy Marzolf from the Joys of Nature to talk about native plant gardening for wildlife. The best way to attract butterflies, birds or other critters to the backyard is to plant native plants. Animals need plants for many reasons, including shelter and food. In this talk, Joy will explain how gardening choices can help turn a garden into a wildlife sanctuary. The program is free and sponsored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.
