On Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Aug. 8 starting at 10 a.m., the Rochester Historical Museum will be holding a large yard sale. The sale will feature a number of items, including lamps and furniture, cookware, wedding-present quality crystal, Christmas decor, crafts of all kinds, yarn, puzzles, books, games, and toys, toys, toys — dinosaurs of all sizes, a tub of Ninja Turtles a bag of costumes and so much more. Items will be both in the museum basement and outside.
The museum’s exhibit, “A Curator's Show: Part I,” located in the church, will also be open at that time for visitors to enjoy. Because the church borders West Wareham, the exhibit showcases the history of both Rochester and West Wareham, and the local history of both towns will be represented.
The exhibit and yard sale will be located in the East Rochester Church at 355 County Rd. in Rochester.
