This weekend, a small group of volunteers spent hours filling a huge dumpster with trash and debris from the Agawam Watershed area and Road. The volunteers who clean this area annually, offer a special thanks to the A.D. Makepeace Company for donating the dumpster again this year.

A special shout out goes to Michael Thomas, Rich and Tyler Ewell, Joe DeSantis, and the crew from the Wareham Harbormaster's office, Mike, Josh and Joe.

Plenty of folks use this area to hunt, fish, camp and walk their dogs. Don't Trash Wareham would like to remind these people that Wareham is a carry in/carry out community.

Lovers of wilderness areas know the phrase LEAVE NO TRACE. This means that when you leave such a beautiful area as the Agawam Watershed, you leave nothing behind, so the next visitors can also enjoy the pristine beauty.
