The American Legion Post #220 baseball team opened their season with a win on Wednesday, June 6, traveling to defeat Rockland Post #147 by a score of 12-1.

Four-year player and Team Co-Captain Ben Church, of Eastern Connecticut State College, received the win from the mound.

The team's home opener will be take place Wednesday, June 9 as the team hosts the Hawkeye Athletic Club at Spillane Field.  The game begins at 5:45 p.m.
