Lena M. (Cubbellotti) Grillo, 92, of Wareham passed away Sept. 8 at the Royal of Fairhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Grillo was the wife of the late Peter V. Grillo. She was born on Feb. 29, 1924 in Hamden, Connecticut the daughter of the late Fiore and Maria (Fusaro) Cubbellotti.

She was a very active member of the Evangelical Zion Church of West Wareham. She was also the former owner of the Hideaway Village Country Store in Buzzards Bay and for many years was a foster mom for Mentor, Inc. She enjoyed Ladies Bible Study, knitting, crosswords and reading.

She is survived by her step children: Vincent Grillo and his wife Louise of Wallingford, Connecticut and Brenda Lampi and her husband Arvid of East Sandwich. She was the sister of John Cubellotti of Connecticut and the late Harry, Joseph, Anthony, Fiore, George, Albert and Frank Cubbellotti and Philomena Cave. She was also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Her memorial service will be held on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. in the Evangelical Zion Church 2239 Cranberry Highway, West Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
