Library to host Summer Reading Program starting June 21
The Friends of the Free Library and Library Staff will offer literacy, music, exercise, story walks and healthy eating during their Summer Reading Program.
Studies show that students need to practice their reading skills over the summer in order to be ready for the next grade in school. This year, the overall theme is "Summer Reading and Healthy Eating."
Pick up a schedule at the Main or Spinney Library. The program runs June 21 to August 11.

- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Free Lunch Program at the Main Library Playground
- Tuesday: Main Library
- 10:00 a.m. - Gardening
- 10:30 a.m. - Storytime
- 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Free Lunch Program at the playground
- Wednesday: Main Library
- 10:00 a.m. - Gardening

(Note: no Library services at the Main Library on Monday, Wednesdays, and Friday)
Children should pick up their reading logs as soon as possible and read for twenty minutes a day, lot it, bring it to the library every week and be entered in a grand prize raffle for Fitbits. Prizes will be awarded to preschool, school aged, and aduls.
