WAREHAM – Linda J. (LeBaron) Blanchette, 76, of West Wareham, passed away on Nov. 13, 2023, at Nemasket Healthcare Center, Middleboro. She was the wife of the late David H. Blanchette and the daughter of the late Francis W. and Lydia F. (Morse) LeBaron.

She was born in Wareham and lived there her whole life.  She graduated from Wareham High School.

Mrs. Blanchette worked as a residential aide caring for disabled adults for many years before retiring.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She had a love for music and singing. She might not have remembered your name but she could sing along to any song without fault. She had a contagious smile and brought joy to all who encountered her. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Manomet.

Survivors include her daughter, Megan Boutin and her husband, Michael of West Wareham; her son, David Blanchette and his wife Mary of Broomfield, CO; her sister, Julianne Thrasher and her husband, John of Hyannis; 4 granddaughters, Sophia, Ruby, Madison and Sawyer.

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
