Wareham High School’s Viking Theater Company finished its four show run of “Little Shop of Horrors” on Sunday following its annual Mother’s Day Brunch.

Every spring, the theater company’s musical is scheduled for Mother’s Day weekend, and ahead of the final matinee, the drama club and culinary department work together to host a breakfast to celebrate mothers.

In the cafeteria, which was decorated with flowers, volunteers from the club serve a brunch that this year included French toast, potatoes, eggs with red peppers, and pastries.

After the breakfast, the cast performed the show for the last time.

“Little Shop of Horrors” is based on the 1986 movie musical of the same name, and follows the exploits of Seymour, a shy flower-shop clerk, who has grown a plant unlike any other.

Director Carolyn Gomes-Vieira presented awards to various cast and crew-members.

Colby Flanigan, student director and puppeteer, was awarded Best Crew. Laura Clements, who played Audrey, was awarded Most Improved for her tenacity throughout the production. Ethan Osley, who played Mr. Mushik, was awarded MVP. Coleby Paling, who played Orin the dentist, was the best supporting actor. Joseph Routson and Olivia Rakoski Calvin were the best ensemble members. Nicholas Dix, who played Seymour, was the best lead actor.
