A man with drugs and a gun was arrested in Wareham.

On Sunday, April 21, at about 10:30 p.m. Wareham Police responded to Jefferson Shores Road for a report of a "suspicious person in the area," according to the press release. At the scene, officers encountered Nathan E. Love, 35, Buzzards Bay.

Officer Michael Phinney and Juvenile Detective Karl Baptiste apprehended Love after he began reaching for the BB gun tucked in his waist. Police also found cocaine on the male and placed him under arrest for possession of a class “B” substance.
