Man stabbed, police identify two brothers arrested Wednesday
Police have identified the two men arrested for allegedly stabbing a 38-year-old man in the back following an argument on Wednesday morning in West Wareham.
Robert Gill, 21, and his 19-year-old brother Michael Gill, both of 12 Penikese St., were arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Both men will be arraigned at Wareham District Court on Thursday, April 28.
Police were called to 12 Penikese Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. for a disturbance involving the three men.
The victim, whose name was not released, received at least one stab wound. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries police said did not appear to be life-threatening.
The Gills were arrested for their involvement in the crime, according to police. They were booked at the Wareham Police Department.
