Mark S. Wilson, 48
Mark S. Wilson, 48, of Wareham, died June 3, 2014. He was the son of the late Robert J. Wilson.
He was born in Stoughton and lived in Wareham for most of his life.
Mr. Wilson graduated from Wareham High School in the Class of 1984 and attended North Adams State College.
Mr. Wilson worked as a heavy equipment operator for New Hampshire Boring.
He was a track star and played hockey while in high school, and was an avid athlete. He was also a big fan of New England sports teams.
Survivors include his mother, Gertrude F. (Hanlon) Wilson of Wareham; his fiancée, Lisa M. Petrone of Easton; a sister, Jean M. Santoro and her husband Robert of Wareham; a brother, Thomas M. Wilson and his wife, Mary of Marston Mills; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Robert G. Wilson.
His funeral will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Onset. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
