Matthew Pulsifer, 26

Matthew R. Pulsifer, 26, of Wareham, died Oct. 21 unexpectedly at his home.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of Melissa Sylvia of New Bedford and Robert Pulsifer of Wareham. He attended Wareham schools.

Matthew worked for MAP Insulation where he had been employed for six years. Previously, he worked at The Bay Pointe Club.

Anyone who knew Matt knows just how amazing he was. Matt touched the lives of many people with his sense of humor and bright personality. Matt enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course and being surrounded by his friends and family. His contagious personality and loving heart will be forever missed.

Survivors include his parents, Melissa Sylvia and her husband James of New Bedford, and Robert Pulsifer and his wife Judi of Wareham; his siblings, Lyndsie Pulsifer of Wareham, James Hathaway and Michael Hathaway both of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and Samantha Hathaway of East Wareham; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lorraine Pulsifer of East Wareham; his aunts and uncles, Tiffany Bourbeau of East Wareham, Joe and Marybeth Pulsifer of Paxton, Kevin and Jean Pulsifer of Ashland, and Mark and Amanda Pulsifer of Rockland. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Friday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
