Wareham resident David Smith has received the signatures necessary to qualify for the Democratic Primary in the race for State Representative of the 2nd Plymouth District.  The primary begins this September, and Smith will be kicking off his campaign with a party at the Pier View Restaurant in Onset on Wednesday.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m., and a complimentary buffet will be served at 7:30 p.m.   The event will feature guest speaker Walter Moniz, a candidate for the Governor's Council in District 1, and Smith will be available to answer questions and meet voters.  All are welcome to attend. Campaign contributions are needed and will be appreciated.
