The Wareham Local Emergency Planning Committee will host a meeting on Monday, Dec. 8 at 7 pm in the Town Hall cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting will be to share with the public the Emergency Action Plan in the event of an issue at local dams.

The meeting is open to the public and will be tailored to address any questions or concerns of Wareham residents who live in the areas of the following dams:

Parker Mills Dam:

• Mayflower Ridge Road

• Heather Hill Road

• Elm Street

• Main Street (from Tihonet Road – British Landing)

• Old Carr Landing Road

• Oakdale Neighborhood

• Cranberry Highway

Tremont Dam:

• Bog Iron Road

• Gault Road

• Main Street 836-1033

• Old Plate Drive

• Open Hearth Drive

• Foundry Circle

• Trout Farm Way

• Papermill Road

• Island Brook Drive

• Fearing Hill Road

• Station Street
