Messy Church is coming to Wareham! This Tuesday (April 21st) from 4-5:30pm at the Rowland Thacher Hall (9 Gibbs Ave.)
Messy Church is a way of being church for families, based around hospitality, creativity and celebration. It began in the UK in 2004, partly from a desire to help families with members of all ages grow together in their faith, and from a belief that we grow best as a church when we walk the journey with as many different people as possible. It has since caught the imagination of churches of many denominations around the world as they try to rethink how to be church for all people whether they’re regular church goers or have little or no church connection.
Messy Church is a fellowship and worship experience, open to all families in our area and will feature arts and craft, games, music, storytelling, snacks and fun! Our theme for the month of April is Earth Day so our crafts, snacks and stories will all help us connect to creation and inspire us to be protectors of our planet. Please join us at Messy Church and encourage any families you know to come with you too!
