Michael Francis Donovan, 56, of Wareham, died unexpectedly in the town of Norton, Massachusetts.

He was a long time Wareham resident. He graduated from Wareham High School and went on to be a canon crewman in Frankfurt, Germany where he served in the U.S.Army for six years.

He was the son of the late William Donovan and Anna Faleski. He is survived by William and Mary Lynch of Weymouth, Gerald Lynch and Mary Donovan of Florida, John Lynch and Kevin Hunt of Wareham, Linda Hunt of Freetown and many loving nieces and nephews.. He was predeceased by the late Linda Morgan and Paul Hunt.

He often worked as a cook and a caregiver. He loved to travel and always had many stories to share. He loved nothing better than to prepare a feast and share it with friends and family.

It is such a loss to our family. Our beloved Mike will be laid to rest on April 16 at 11a.m. at the National Cemetery at Otis Air Force base.
