Middle School prepares for the Relay for Life
The Wareham Middle School Relay For Life team is getting ready to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The kickoff was here and gone which means it is time to start raising money. Every year the Relay has taken place on the track right outside the Wareham Middle School. It is an overnight event, and similar events are held in more than 25 countries around the world. Students from all grades and houses participate and offer support to find a cure for cancer.
The next Relay is on June 18 at 6 p.m. Adults like to sell items to raise money, and kids just like to have fun playing football, tag, and many other games. If you want to find out more about this project, or if one of your beloved family members or friends has suffered from this tragic disease, then you can go on the Relay For Life website at www.relayforlife.org/relay/.
So like most people say, "Lets Find A Cure!"
