Wareham Police arrested two men on Monday, June 24.

At about 9:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at the Speedway Gas on Main Street. Officers arrived to find a man, who seemed extremely agitated, yelling at someone. He had been asked to leave by an employee after becoming unruly in the store. Louie Figaratto Jr., 62, of Attleborough, was arrested for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  It is alleged that Mr. Figaratto became so hostile that he spat at, shoved, and threw coins at the employee during the incident.

Later, at about 7:00 p.m. Wareham Police received a call about an erratic operator in the area of Hathaway Street. A vehicle description was given out and officers began checking the area. Brian Bartel, 33, of Wareham was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay in marked lanes.
