Mother’s Day/Spring Open House at Tihonet Village Market
Visit the Tihonet Village Market on Saturday, May 7 for a Mother’s Day/Spring Open House. There will be free samples and free crafts for the kids. All moms will receive a complimentary flower.
During the open house, the winner of the “My mom is the best” essay contest will be announced. The winner will receive a $75 gift basket.
At 10 a.m. there will be a ceremony celebrating the release of the 2nd annual “Make It Better with Cranberries” cookbook. Authors Edward and Yolanda Lodi from Rock Village Publishing, as well as many of the contest’s cooks, will be on-hand. Some of the cooks will bring samples of their recipes for all to share.
Tihonet Village Market’s new Garden Shoppe will offer a selection of potted and hanging plants for Mother’s Day, and the market offers a selection of unique gifts and food items.
