Murder suspect held without bail
Mar 30, 2020
Danny Sherman, the man arrested for the Friday murder of a woman in the Rose Point home they shared, will be held without bail without prejudice until April 30.
Sherman was arraigned in Plymouth on March 30, and entered a not guilty plea. He is currently being held in the Plymouth County House of Corrections.
The court has ordered that he be subject for a competency hearing. That is, he is to be evaluated to determine whether he is fit to stand trial.
On Friday morning, police responded to reports of a distressed man in a canoe before discovering a woman deceased in her home at 3 Woodbridge Ave.
The police reports have been impounded by a judge.
