Muriel A. (Nee) Farina, 80, of Onset, died Sunday, July 14, at the home of her son in Maumee, OH.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Patrick & Helen M. (Ford) Nee. A previous resident of Somerville and Arlington, she moved to Onset after her retirement.

Mrs. Farina was employed as service representative for New England Telephone for many years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivors include her children, Thomas P. Farina and his fiancé Wendy Baron of Arlington, Patricia Springer and her husband Wayne of Bedford, Joseph A. Farina and his wife Carolyn of Maumee, OH, and Paul M. Farina of Jenkintown, PA; her sisters, Claire M. Rooney of Marshfield and Sarasota, FL, and Sr. Patricia Nee, DC of Jacksonville, FL; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was recently predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Joanne Farina.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. Mary’s Church, Onset Ave., Onset from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
