Nancy M. (Maxim) Connolly, 82, of Wareham, died Sept. 23 in Wareham Health Care Center. She was the widow of the late John J. “Jack” Connolly and the daughter of the late Howard F. and Marie L. (Tosi) Maxim.

She was born in Wareham and lived there all her life.

Mrs. Connolly worked as a waitress at the Mill Pond Diner for many years before retiring.

She enjoyed playing bingo.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah M. Smith of Plymouth and Bridget Connolly of Wareham; two sons, Don Maxim of Londonderry, New Hampshire and John J. Connolly, Jr. of Wareham; three sisters, Joann Osborn of Milford, New Hampshire, Barbara DeMello of Newburne, North Carolina and Dorothy DeBlois of Wareham; two brothers, Charles Maxim of Wareham and Raymond Maxim of Tampa, Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Frances Lewis, Margaret Stec and Evelyn Mallowes and mother-in-law of the late John Smith.
