Wareham High School has hired Mark Stanford from Braintree to coach the school's hockey team.

Stanford coached for more than 10 years in the New England College Developmental League, where he was the coach of the Lady Hawks girls hockey program, said Wareham High School Athletic Director Marc Loranger. He was also head coach at Manatee High School in Florida for 2 years.

Combined, Stanford has more than 15 years of coaching experience, said Loranger.
