Nicole Isabelle (Rahasonoroarimalala) Rizner, 62, of Onset passed away July 31. She was born on Oct. 18, 1953 in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar and moved to the United States in 1991.

She worked as a secretary for CARE International in Comoros Islands.

Nicole loved to sing, dance and spend time with her family. She loved to cook and praise the Lord.

Nicole is survived by her husband, Jace Rizner of Onset as well as her mother, Justine Rakotondrahaso of Paris, France. She also leaves behind her two sons, Tahaina Rabenjanirainy-Mauran of Paris, and Hery Rakotoarimanitra and his partner Dawn Bunting of New Bedford, and her daughter, Karah Cadjee Rahasonoroarimalala of Fall River.

Nicole was the beloved neny (grandmother) to Heri, Kaylise, Rija, Ajani, Brycen, Jaelyn, Alexis, Jaelynn, Torianna and Elijah.

She was predeceased by her father, Celestin Rakotondrahaso and her son, Rija Rakotoarimanitra.

Her funeral service will be held on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Onset Foursquare Church, 301 Onset Ave., Onset, with viewing at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett.
