The Spiritual Church of Onset will host an Onset Drumming Circle on Dec. 30 from 7 to 8 p.m. at 17 Highland Ave. The class is held every Monday. 

The class will be led by Sam Holmstock, who has taught Afro-Caribbean drumming for 35 years. The event focuses on relaxation and fun, enhanced neuroplasticity and boosting the immune system.

Everyone is welcomed. No experience is necessary to play. Drop-ins are welcome. The class will have extra drums to share but participants are advised to bring their own if they have one. 

The cost is $10 per person.
