The Onset Fire District will hold a special district meeting on Monday, November 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Dudley L. Brown VFW, located at 5 Gibbs Ball Park Road.

The four-article warrant includes two housekeeping articles asking voters to rescind votes from previous meetings, which allowed the transfer of funds from the Water District Surplus account.

The third article on the warrant asks voters to accept a Massachusetts General Law that would allow the district to accept gifts and donations of property. The fourth article then asks voters to accept five gifts given to the Onset Fire Department: a privateer boat and related equipment, two forcible entry tools, a smart board, and a hydraulic cutter.

All registered voters living within the Onset Fire District are eligible to participate.
