A new Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston eye center is opening in town at 12 Rosebrook Place on Aug. 1.

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston President Trexler M. Topping, MD, said the new location would be much more convenient for patients in the Wareham area.

“Part of our ongoing mission is to continually enhance our services and bring our … team of eye care specialists closer to our surrounding communities,” Topping said.

The practice specializes in medical, laser and surgical treatment of the full range of eye conditions, including specialty care for cataracts, conditions of the cornea, glaucoma, and conditions of the retina.
