The Wareham Cape Verdean Support Team has an awesome group of students who went on an educational trip to Cape Verde in February.

After seeing many students having difficulty paying the fee of $20 a year, these WCVST students and adults are now trying to raise funds and gather donations to help students in Cape Verde continue their education.

Currently we are working to help 200 students in our sister city school of Escola Secundaria Alfredo de Cruz Silva finish school.

Save the dates:

June 24 dance at The Wareham Elks from 6 to 11 p.m. Music by Lady K and CV Band Milton and Friends. $20 per person, dinner included. There is also a bingo ball elimination raffle that will take place at the dance, $10 per ticket.

July 8 and 15 a car wash will be held at the Wareham Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will be excepting donations.

August 12 Onset CV Festival, we will be selling bracelets.

August 19 and 20 we will be tagging in front of Walmart.
