Patricia L. Hicks, 70, of Wareham died March 16 in Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. She was the daughter of the late Antone M. and Leona E. (Lee) Duarte.

She was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for 32 years. She attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Mrs. Hicks worked as a certified nursing assistant in the area for many years.

She enjoyed crafts, fishing, cooking and exploring.

Survivors include four daughters, Holly Blade of Dayville, Connecticut, Charlene Traylor of Rockville, Maryland, Tanya Lewis of Bangor, Maine and Carolyn D. Burke of New Bedford; two sons, Antone Hicks of Wareham and Christopher Montes of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Carolyn Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ann Robinson of Whiteville, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.

Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham.

Visiting hours are from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
