Paul E. Wilcox, 82, of Plymouth died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Plymouth. He was the husband of Carolyn G. (Greeley) Wilcox.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Edgar L. & Doris B. (Bourne) Wilcox. A previous resident of Wareham, Burlington, Stoughton and Boston, he has lived in Plymouth for the last three years. Mr. Wilcox worked as an accountant for Federated Business Services in Burlington.

Mr. Wilcox served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957 and served aboard the USS English (DD-696).

Survivors include his wife; his children, Mark Wilcox, of Clinton, Steven Wilcox, of Wareham, Scott Wilcox, of Bowie, Maryland, Christopher Wilcox, of Burlington, and Kimberly Wilcox, of Haverhill. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rt. 28), Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
