Paul Smiley, 70
Paul F. Smiley, 70, of Wareham, died Nov. 24.
He was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for many years. He was the son of the late Carl and Dorothy (Doyle) Smiley.
He graduated from Roslindale High School and the Franklin Institute. He served in the Seabees in the U. S. Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran.
Mr. Smiley worked as an auto appraiser for many years before retiring.
He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the MCB-53 Alumni Association.
Survivors include his fiancé, Cynthia C. Adams of Pocasset and her children, Dawn, Tara and Paula and grandchildren, Brandon, Abby, Jack, Sam, Cam, and Lexi; his cousins, Connie Treen, Tom Murphy, Ellen Bailey, Steve Murphy and Jim Murphy.
Visiting hours are from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
