A pet clinic on wheels will be parked at Parkwood July 11, providing affordable pet care services.

Jeni Mather, owner of J.M. Pet Resort and J.M. Pet Vet in Brockton, started the 33-foot truck veterinary clinic after she closed the animal shelter she owned for 17 years. Mather said she heard many stories from people who were unable to keep their pets because of the cost.

The clinic will offer vaccinations, checkups, spays, neuters, dentistry, lump removals and more. The enclosed environment is comforting for pets, Mather said.

Pet owners can call 508-588-5661 and ask for Pet Vet to book an appointment for July 11. The truck will be parked outside the Parkwood Beach Association Community House, 27 Datewood Street.
